Back to the grind

Florida was awesome.
Even though it rained everyday at some point, I wasn’t bummed.
Such a drastic change to go from Western, Mass to Southern, FL in a few hours.
My good friend, Mark, who I stayed with…his place is exponential nicer than my place up in Mass and he pays the same per month as I do…wild.

Got back to Philly on Thursday night.
Just been getting some last minute things together and then I’m headed back up to Mass tomorrow for portfolio review and graduation…wish me luck!
I’m super excited to finish school and go out into the world.

Over the last few days I decided a few things:
1). I love traveling, airports, planes and everything related. I wouldn’t mind traveling all over for work. I’d actually love it.
2). I love clouds. They carry a certain aura with them that is hard to put into words. They are even more spectacular viewed from a plane. I would love to sky dive into one.
3). Music inspires me. Not just in photography, but life in general. I guess I always knew that, but just really noticed it over the past few days.

I didn’t take many photos while in Florida. but here are a few I liked.
Something a little different from me.

Not sure what city this is. Maybe West Palm Beach?

Florida!

Since school is pretty much done with and I all I have to do is get my portfolio reviewed and graduate I thought I would take a trip down to Florida to relax
I’m staying with my good buddy, Mark so it’s bound to be a good time all around

It’s such a welcome change from living up in Mass
The weather, the people, just the whole lifestyle in general….very relaxing to say the least

I only brought a body and a few lenses
It’s a good feeling to not have a deadline on your shoulders for a little bit and just shoot whatever you want

I’ll leave you with a few images I shot of Haley about a week ago
It was a suppper quick shoot (45 minutes including set-up and take down) but we managed to get some good stuff
She was a blast to work with
Keep and eye out for another shoot with her in the coming weeks

Lumberjack….

….or serial killer?
You decide.

This was for my occupational portrait for my final portfolio at school
I was sick of seeing the same shot of someone making coffee at star bucks or a person behind a counter so I decided to go the total opposite direction

Tim is the man for doing this and was so into it, it was great
We legit had to walk fall down 100+ft of rock face covered in lose dirt with about 200 pounds of photo gear

Here is the one I am going to be using

And of course an out-take

Back to work to get this final portfolio wrapped up!

Peace all!

T-minus 7 days!

Fact:
Final portfolio is due in 7 days.

That is crazy.

I’ve been shooting, editing and printing like a madman
I absolutely love it
It’s going to feel so good to finally hand this bad boy in

I have a lot of images to edit and post up
That will probably happen after I hand in my portfolio and have some free time to catch up on some stuff

I started this little series the other day inspired by Junichi Ito
Be on the lookout for more soon!

Good times.
Good people.

Peace all!
